Analysis of Tourist Attractions in Boosting Tourist Interest in Visiting the Bedengan Campground Tourist Attraction, Selorejo

This study aims to analyze how tourist attractions can increase visitor interest in the Bedengan Campground, Selorejo. Tourist attractions are a key component in destination development because they can create appeal that encourages tourists to visit, enjoy their stay, and return for future visits. Bedengan Campground is known as a natural tourism destination that offers the beauty of pine forests, flowing rivers, a cool atmosphere, as well as various recreational and camping activities that have the potential to attract tourists. However, the success of a destination is not only determined by natural beauty but also by the quality of the attractions available, ease of access, supporting facilities, and the experiences felt by visitors. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach using data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research subjects are tourists visiting the Bedengan Selorejo Campground. The data were analyzed to determine the influence of tourist attractions on tourists’ interest in visiting. The results of the study indicate that tourist attractions play a significant role in increasing tourists’ interest in visiting. Natural beauty, a variety of tourist activities, a comfortable atmosphere, and the uniqueness of the environment are the main factors influencing tourists’ interest. The better the management and development of tourist attractions, the higher the tourists’ interestin visiting. Therefore, managers need to continuously improve the quality of attractions, introduce innovative tourism activities, and preserve the environment so that the destination’s appeal remains strong and it can compete with other tourist destinations.

ANALISIS BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS PADA PENGELOLAAN WISATA KEBUN RAYA PURWODADI

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis model bisnis Kebun Raya Purwodadi menggunakan kerangka kerja Business Model Canvas (BMC). Kebun Raya Purwodadi merupakan kawasan konservasi ex-situ seluas 85 hektar yang dikelola oleh BRIN bekerja sama dengan PT Mitra Natura Raya (MNR), berfungsi sebagai pusat konservasi tumbuhan, penelitian botani, pendidikan lingkungan, dan ekowisata. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan analisis terhadap sembilan elemen BMC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kebun Raya Purwodadi memiliki proposisi nilai yang kuat berupa pengalaman ekowisata unik, nilai edukasi tinggi, dan koleksi tumbuhan langka. Segmen pelanggan utama mencakup pelajar, wisatawan keluarga, peneliti, dan komunitas pecinta tanaman. Kemitraan strategis BRIN dan PT MNR menjadi fondasi operasional, sementara diversifikasi pendapatan melalui tiket masuk, program edukasi, jasa penelitian, dan sewa fasilitas direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan stabilitas finansial. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi bagi pengembangan pengelolaan destinasi wisata berbasis konservasi di Indonesia.

Strategi Promosi Digital dalam Meningkatkan Kunjungan Wisatawan di Banyu Biru Pasuruan

This study aims to examine how digital promotion strategies can increase tourist visits to Bayu Biru Natural Bathing Place in Pasuruan. This research is based on the growing importance of digital media as an effective promotional tool in today’s era, where competition among tourist attractions is becoming increasingly intense. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, documentation, and document review during an internship at the Department of Tourism of Pasuruan Regency. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to understand how digital promotion strategies are implemented. The results show that digital promotion strategies are carried out through the use of social media such as Instagram, the creation of promotional video content, and collaboration with influencers to reach a wider audience. These strategies have a positive impact on increasing tourist interest and attracting more visitors to Banyu Biru. However, there are still several challenges, such as limited human resources in managing digital media, lack of consistency in content creation, and less optimal interaction with the audience. In conclusion, digital promotion strategies play an important role in increasing tourist visits, especially through social media and influencer collaboration. However, these strategies still need to be improved to become more effective, consistent, and sustainable in the future.

SWOT AND 4A ANALYSIS IN THE DEVOLOPMENT OF MARINE ECOTOURISM IN GISIK CEMANDI VILLAGE

This study aims to analyze the potential and formulate strategies for the development of
sustainable marine ecotourism in Gisik Cemandi Village, Sedati Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency.
The research method employed was a descriptive qualitative approach through field
observations, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the
SWOT approach and the 4A analysis (attraction, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary) to
identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in tourism development. The
results of the study indicate that Gisik Cemandi Village possesses unique potential in the form
of mangrove ecosystems, river cruise tourism, and coastal community activities that can be
developed as ecotourism attractions. However, tourism development still faces various
challenges, such as limited infrastructure, insufficient promotion, and low-quality human
resources in tourism management. Based on a carrying capacity analysis, this area has limited
capacity that must be managed sustainably to preserve the environment. Recommended
strategies include community-based ecotourism development, improving human resource
quality, strengthening digital promotion, and collaborating with external parties. With the
implementation of these strategies, it is hoped that Gisik Cemandi Village will be able to
develop into a competitive and sustainable marine ecotourism destination.

ANALISIS KETERLIBATAN WISATAWAN DALAM MENDUKUNG KEBERLANJUTAN KONSERVASI PENYU DI PANTAI SERANG, KABUPATEN BLITAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi keterlibatan wisatawan terhadap efektivitas program pelestarian lingkungan di kawasan pesisir Pantai Serang. Latar belakang penelitian ini menyoroti dinamika kunjungan wisatawan di Kawasan Konservasi Penyu Segoro Lestari yang memicu perlunya sinergi antara aktivitas rekreasi dan perlindungan satwa. Fenomena menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan konservasi tidak hanya bergantung pada pengelola, namun sangat dipengaruhi oleh bagaimana pengunjung mengadopsi nilai-nilai edukasi dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi lokal guna meminimalisir gangguan antropogenik terhadap habitat penyu. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pengunjung. Analisis dilakukan untuk menguji sejauh mana variabel keterlibatan pengunjung memiliki korelasi signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan aktivitas perlindungan habitat. Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa kesadaran ekosistem wisatawan merupakan instrumen penting dalam menjaga integritas daya tarik wisata bahari.

Surabaya Zoo as an Interdisciplinary Case Study: The Integration of Tourism, Conservation, and Public Policy

Surabaya Zoo (KBS), as both a tourist attraction and a conservation institution, has faced governance conflicts, pressures from tourism commercialization, and animal welfare issues in recent years. This study employs a literature review method, examining scientific journals, credible news articles, official reports, and relevant institutional documents from the past five years. The findings indicate that the Surabaya Zoo is experiencing complex conflict dynamics, particularly regarding efforts to enhance tourist attractions through innovations such as night tours, issues of transparency and accountability in financial management, and conservation challenges related to animal welfare and spatial carrying capacity limitations. On the other hand, public policy plays a crucial role in driving institutional restructuring and strengthening governance to ensure that tourism and conservation functions operate in balance. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the management of the Surabaya Zoo requires a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to effectively achieve sustainable conservation-based tourism appeal.

Strategy for Developing Sandan Bamboo Forest as a Community-Based Tourism Destination in Bali Province

The development of nature tourism is part of the policy of utilizing environmental services in protected forests within the social forestry program for forest conservation and improving welfare. The Sandan Bamboo Forest is one of the implementation locations for the synergy between the social forestry program and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Bali Province. The development of the Sandan Bamboo Forest is supported by a community empowerment collaboration within an environmental partnership between PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Bali and the Wana Kerta Lestari Forest Farmers Group (KTH). Through a SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Treats) analysis, this study describes the development strategy of the Sandan Bamboo Forest as a community-based nature and agroforestry tourism destination for bamboo cultural preservation education, aligned with the Community-Based Tourism (CBT) concept and a green economy approach.

PERAN AGROWISATA BERBASIS EKONOMI HIJAU DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT LOKAL

Pengembangan sektor pariwisata seringkali belum sepenuhnya memberikan dampak optimal terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal serta masih menghadapi permasalahan terkait degradasi lingkungan. Agrowisata berbasis ekonomi hijau hadir sebagai alternatif yang mengintegrasikan aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran agrowisata berbasis ekonomi hijau dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip ekonomi hijau dalam agrowisata mampu meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat, menciptakan peluang kerja, serta mendorong pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang lebih berkelanjutan. Selain itu, keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan agrowisata berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan dan kapasitas sosial-ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Temuan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pelestarian lingkungan. Namun demikian, masih terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dan minimnya dukungan kebijakan yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kapasitas masyarakat melalui pelatihan, peningkatan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan masyarakat, serta pengembangan kebijakan yang mendukung implementasi ekonomi hijau dalam sektor agrowisata. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan untuk menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif guna mengukur secara lebih rinci pengaruh agrowisata terhadap indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat.

ANALISIS PRIORITAS PENINGKATAN FASILITAS BERDASARKAN PERSEPSI PENGUNJUNG DI EKOWISATA MANGROVE WONOREJO SURABAYA

This study is motivated by the importance of facilities in shaping visitor experience quality and satisfaction in ecotourism destinations. Mangrove Ecotourism Wonorejo Surabaya has strong tourism potential; however, variations in facility quality may affect visitor satisfaction. This study aims to analyze which facilities should be prioritized for improvement based on visitor perceptions. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents using accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale to measure satisfaction levels for each facility. The results show that facilities such as toilets, prayer rooms, gazebos, and tracking/jogging paths fall into the “poor” category, dominated by medium to low ratings (scores 2–3), indicating unmet visitor expectations. The main issues relate to cleanliness, physical condition, and inadequate maintenance systems. Meanwhile, facilities such as parking areas, information centers, photo spots, boat rentals, food stalls, and trash bins are categorized as “good” and meet visitor expectations. These findings highlight a gap between expectations and actual conditions, particularly in core amenities that directly influence visitor comfort. Therefore, a structured and sustainable facility maintenance management system is essential to improve visitor satisfaction and support ecotourism sustainability.

Optimization of the Tourist Attraction of Museum Mpu Tantular Sidoarjo as a Sustainable Educational Tourism Destination

Educational tourism is a vital element in enhancing the quality of sustainable tourism. The Mpu Tantular Museum in Sidoarjo, as an educational tourism destination, holds significant potential through its historical collections and inherent educational value. However, the number of monthly visitors has remained unstable, indicating that the museum's attractions have not been fully utilized.

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the Mpu Tantular Museum's appeal as an educational tourism destination. The research focuses on tourism attraction aspects, including the uniqueness of the collections, educational value, and the overall visitor experience. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving museum management and visitors as informants.

The findings reveal that the museum’s primary appeal lies in its diverse historical collections and high educational value. Furthermore, educational activities such as guided tours and interactive learning programs contribute to the visitors' learning experience. However, these attractions are not yet optimally packaged due to a lack of innovation in collection presentation, minimal interactive elements, and limited information delivery.

The conclusion of this study suggests that optimizing the museum's appeal requires more innovative and interactive presentations, the utilization of digital technology, and an enhanced visitor experience. These efforts are expected to increase visitor interest and stability while strengthening the museum’s position as a sustainable educational tourism destination.

PERAN KUALITAS FASILITAS PENDUKUNG DALAM MEMBENTUK KEPUASAN WISATAWAN PADA DESTINASI WISATA SEJARAH

This study aims to analyze the influence of supporting facility quality (amenities) on visitor satisfaction at the 10 November Museum in Surabaya. As a major historical destination, the museum is required to provide comfortable infrastructure to balance the educational value of its collections. The focus of this research is to determine the extent to which physical facilities meet modern tourist expectations.

The methodology employed is quantitative eksplanatori research with a sample of 100 respondents selected via accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression and classical assumption tests to ensure statistical accuracy.

The results indicate that amenity quality has a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction, contributing 16.2% to the overall level. These findings confirm that cleanliness and room comfort are fundamental factors determining the quality of the visitation experience. It is recommended that management improve facility maintenance standards to ensure sustainable visitor satisfaction.

Analisis Penilaian Wisatawan Terhadap Penerapan Konsep Ekowisata Berkelanjutan Di Klurak Ecopark Mojokerto

This study aims to examine tourist perceptions regarding the implementation of sustainable ecotourism principles at Klurak Ecopark Mojokerto. The research applies a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to visitors and analyzed descriptively to identify patterns of perception.

The variables observed include ecotourism based management as the independent variable, consisting of environmental conservation, environmental education, community participation, and economic sustainability, as well as tourist perception as the dependent variable. The findings indicate that visitors generally perceive the implementation of ecotourism positively. Environmental conservation and site comfort are the most highly rated aspects, while environmental education and community involvement require further improvement.

These results suggest that although the ecotourism concept has been implemented, optimization is still needed, particularly in educational and participatory dimensions. This study provides insights for improving sustainable tourism management practices.

Revitalization Of Taman Harmoni To Attract Tourist Visits

The analysis in this paper focuses on the effectiveness of physical land revitalization in transforming the destination image of Taman Harmoni Surabaya in order to enhance its appeal to tourists. As an urban eco-tourism area established on the former site of the Keputih Final Disposal Site (TPA), Taman Harmoni bears the challenge of a negative stigma related to its past environmental conditions. Through a descriptive qualitative approach supported by interview data, observation, and documentation, this study examines how landscape transformation is capable of reconstructing a new identity for the destination. The findings reveal that the presence of aesthetic elements such as Tabebuya trees and flower gardens plays a crucial role in erasing negative perceptions and creating a strong visual appeal for visitors. This physical optimization not only improves environmental quality but also positions Taman Harmoni as a healthy, safe, and sustainable public space. Ultimately, well-planned land transformation becomes a key factor in driving increased tourist visit volumes amid the competitive landscape of urban tourism destinations.

Analysis Of The Influence Of Public Opinion On The Decision To Visit The Toerwagen Tourist Attraction In Surabaya's Old City

This study is inspired by the significant role of the tourism industry in romoting economic development and the growing impact of public sentiment on the choices made by tourists, particularly regarding the Toerwagen site in Surabaya's Old Town. The aim of this research is to evaluate how public opinion affects the decisions of tourists. A quantitative method with a causal associative design was employed, involving 100 participants chosen through a simple random sampling method. Information was gathered via a Likert scale survey and analyzed using simple linear regression techniques with SPSS software. The findings indicated that all elements were confirmed as valid, showing correlation values ranging from 0.838 to 0.930 for variable X and 0. 844 to 0.967 for variable Y, as well as demonstrating reliability with Cronbach's Alpha scores of 0. 939 for X and 0.954 for Y. The hypothesis testing produced a t value of 58. 524 along with a significance level of 0.000.

Pacet District and Trawas District, located on the slopes of Mount Arjuno, have rapidly developing natural tourism potential, as indicated by the increasing construction of villas, homestays, and tourism facilities to support tourism activities in both areas. However, this growth has triggered pressure on spatial utilization, particularly the conversion of agricultural land and protected areas into built-up areas. Based on spatial data such as land cover, spatial planning patterns, developable land, and protected agricultural areas (KP2B), several inconsistencies in spatial utilization have been identified, which may increase environmental degradation and disaster risks, especially landslides in slope areas. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of spatial utilization in Pacet and Trawas Districts in relation to the spatial planning framework, as well as to identify the impacts of tourism development on the physical conditions of the area. The method used is a descriptive-comparative approach with spatial analysis through overlay techniques between existing land use maps and spatial planning maps. The variables analyzed include zoning suitability, land use change, built-up land, and potential spatial utilization conflicts. The results indicate that tourism development in the slopes of Mount Arjuno tends to be not fully aligned with the spatial planning framework, as evidenced by the presence of development in protected areas and zones with steep slopes. This condition increases the potential for spatial utilization conflicts and disaster risks.

PERAN ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH (E-WOM) TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN BERKUNJUNG WISATAWAN : STUDI LITERATUR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis peran Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi literatur, dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder berupa jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang relevan dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan content analysis untuk mengidentifikasi pola, kesamaan, dan perbedaan hasil penelitian terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa E-WOM secara umum memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung dan keputusan berkunjung wisatawan. Selain itu, minat berkunjung berperan sebagai variabel intervening yang memperkuat hubungan antara E-WOM dan keputusan berkunjung. Namun, beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh E-WOM tidak selalu signifikan, sehingga mengindikasikan adanya faktor lain seperti daya tarik wisata, aksesibilitas, dan preferensi individu yang turut memengaruhi keputusan wisatawan. Selain itu, media sosial berbasis konten visual terbukti mampu meningkatkan efektivitas E-WOM dalam menarik minat wisatawan. Kesimpulannya, E-WOM merupakan faktor eksternal yang penting dalam membentuk persepsi dan keputusan berkunjung wisatawan, meskipun pengaruhnya bersifat kontekstual dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor pendukung.
