PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA BERBASIS EKOWISATA DI DESA WISATA TEMBI BANTUL

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of an Ecotourism-based Tourism Village in the Tembi Tourism Village. Ecotourism-based tourism villages are: sustainable natural conditions (natural conservation), preservation of local cultural arts (Local culture conservation) and improvement of the local economy (improving economic welfare for the local) (Argubi, 2020). This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Results research shows that the Tembi Tourism Village uses an ecotourism concept based on sustainable natural conditions using the concept of green tourism by preserving nature in the form of bamboo trees, rice fields and irrigation flows. Preserving local arts and culture, there are activity products in the Tembi Tourism Village that highlight elements of art and surrounding culture, for example, such as plowing rice fields, making pottery, making batik and cultural arts activity programs. Development of the Tembi Tourism Village, especially in homestay design. The Tembi Tourism Village is still traditional using the traditional Javanese Joglo house shape. The Tembi Tourism Village has had an impact on improving The local economy takes the form of community involvement in providing homestays, serving as tour guides and the existence of shops to provide visitors' needs such as snacks, mineral water, toiletries, public toilets, bicycle rental and privately managed parking lots.
